Lyten to build ‘world’s first' lithium-sulfur battery gigafactory in Nevada
Enabling a 100% domestically manufactured battery, the facility near Reno will manufacture cathode active materials, lithium metal anodes, and assemble lithium-sulfur cells, with Phase 1 scheduled to come online in 2027 and at full capacity produce up to 10 GW·h of lithium-sulfur batteries annually.
